Disney Parks Hopes to Inspire 1 Million Volunteers Beginning Jan. 1
Sept. 29, 2009 – Disney Parks today announced a new program that celebrates the spirit of volunteer service with a simple proposition: “Give a Day, Get a Disney Day.”

Disney hopes to inspire families to volunteer in their communities during 2010 through this first of its kind program. One million people who perform volunteer service for a participating organization will receive a free one-day admission ticket to a Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort theme park.

Impact Life in Colusa County

Impact Life in Colusa County is a 501c3. non-profit, mostly volunteer staffed, community based organization, which serves the less fortunate of Colusa and surrounding counties. One of our missions is to provide basic human services such as; food, clothing, hygiene products and household items to citizens in need throughout our community. We are the only organization who provides food, hygiene, clothing and basic human services within our county. Taken over from a similar predecessor institution, Impact Life in Colusa County has been serving the citizens of Colusa County since 2002. Impact Life is integral to many programs that are now institutions within our community. Please check out the various services that we provide to the citizens of Colusa County.

Young Life

Impact Life in Colusa County also donates a portion of the store profits to the Young Life Organization. We are proud sponsors of this religious youth group.
